And now, where to begin? Let me think back to catch you up on a few of my life's happenings.
One of the biggest happenings--I had a wonderful opportunity with a great friend of mine to take a flight up through the Brooks Range and the Gate of the Arctic National Park. And boy, was it one of the coolest things I have ever done. It was an absolutely beautiful 3 hour flight. We started off by getting the chance to enjoy Alaska's beautiful landscape from above while ending the night flying through a stunning Alaska sunset.
The pictures don't even do justice, as you could imagine, but I am so blessed to have been able to have this experience! Thanks Courtney! :)
I've been at my "new" job for about a month now and it's going really well so far. I'm not sure when and if they're going to officially hire someone, but for now, I'll just keep making sure the program is successful under my guidance and we'll see what happens. I am really enjoying the new challenges it has to offer, and even better, the schedule. It's awesome to be able to find some time for me on the week nights and even better, enjoy my weekends watching football and spending time with great friends. I feel like I can actually make plans and have a life, which is exactly what I was needing for this deployment. It's amazing how God always has the answer. We just have to learn to be patient and trust that He will lead us in the right direction with His plan, always.
Now for a little peak into life through some pictures, although I must admit, I've been horrible at taking pictures the past month so I must get better with my documenting of life!

Speaking of B, a few updates from the opposite side of the world. He has recently moved units and changed jobs. This has been a big change for the both of us as things at his new location are very different, but as always, we're making it work with our best efforts. This also means changes for me as we are now no longer a part of the 2-8 family and he will be returning with a whole new group of people than he left with. The thought of all of this change in the middle of the deployment was not one that I was originally looking forward to, but as with everything, I must embrace it and make the best of it. This means I will be meeting new people, attending new events, and getting much different information. But this changes nothing in the fact that we must remember to continue our prayers for all of our soldier's safety.
