B and I finally said "I DO" after a long awaited 6 1/2 years of dating. It was truly the happiest day of our lives and we were finally going to get to be together after 5 years of a long distance relationship...or so we thought. Obviously, the Army had other plans and we had to spend this special day away from one another, along with all of the other holidays that are to follow during the next year of this seperation from one another. But as I have said before, this will only make us stronger and will make us appreciate that much more the future times we have to look forward to together.
Our wedding week was one that will never be forgotten. I am so thankful we were able to celebrate and share in the festivities with so many of our closest friends and family. We were blessed with all of the love and support we were shown during this exciting time of our lives. As I sit here today I think back to that warm Texas night and remember looking at B and saying, "I can't believe it's all over already." It all happened so quick. And now, here we are 2 years later! It sure has been an exciting 2 years of marriage and I can't wait for what the many future years ahead have in store for us!
