Two Thousand Twelve

To get us caught up to present day, we'll start with a review of the year 2012. And as you'll quickly see, what a year it was!

Biggest news? B returned home safely to the USA from his year long tour in Afghanistan.

We went on vacation to no other than one of our favorites, Vegas. Then hopped on over to California and caught a 7-day cruise to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta.

We also spent much of our summer touring Alaska. Denali. Seward. Anchorage. Fishing in Valdez, twice. An unexpected trip to the uneventful "town" of Circle, Alaska. The Arctic Circle.

And okay, so maybe there is bigger news of 2012! We found out we were expecting a baby to be due in April 2013.

We found out we were having a baby boy.

We moved from Fort Wainwright, Alaska to Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

We've officially drove the whole thing. In the dead of winter.

Our load.

And we spent the holidays with our families.

As you can see, it was one busy and crazy year. Having to leave Alaska was a lot harder than I ever could have imagined. We had to say see ya later to some incredible friends of ours that had become our family and I had to leave my job that I had come to love.

Here's to 2013!
